NEWS:

August went so quickly, I never even got my News Bulletin done! However I’m much more organised for September and promise an autumn with lots of fun.

Whilst the summer weather hasn’t been that great and the summer holidays are now over, that doesn’t mean that there isn’t still time for lots of fun. Autumn is my favourite season of the year, the colours, the smells, the woolly jumpers and hot chocolate! Let’s make this autumn an ‘Autumn of Adventure’.

Im very excited to announce that in the next couple of weeks I’ll be launching our ‘Autumn of Adventure’ campaign in conjunction with https://thedenkitco.com/ and https://helliontoys.co.uk/ There will be ideas for crafts and activities to get you out and about during the autumn months and a challenge to win an amazing Adventure Kit, so make sure you keep checking our page and stories for details of what’s to come.

Both https://instagram.com/denkitco and https://instagram.com/helliontoys have recently launched some amazing new products.

The New Pocket Explorer Collection from Hellion Toys is a collection of five individual pieces, a magnifying glass, compass, colour wheel, nature journal and mirror.

Each piece has been designed and created by Toymaker Dr Hellion herself. The versatile and sustainably made collection has been designed “to help deepen explorations of the natural world, to support observation, creative documentation and reflection skills of the contrasting and changing landscapes we encounter.”

It also comes with a clip so that it can be attached to your The Nature Bug Club Kit Bag so you know exactly where they are when you need them!

One of our favourite businesses has also just added some new products to their already extensive range. Den Kits we’re designed to encourage children outside and they certainly do that!

New additions to their collection are their Forest Den Kit, a “super-sized den building kit designed for camouflaged adventures amongst the trees“. They do a fabulous range of Activity and Mini Kits too and new additions to these are the Survival Bracelet Kit and the Nest Building Kit.

All their products are designed by themselves and tested by their expert team of young dengineers, and sourced with sustainability in mind. Some of their already hugely popular existing kits have been revamped so that they are now plastic free!

And if that wasn’t enough to get you excited to get out and about, your little ones can also collect their The Nature Bug Club Collectible Nature Badges whilst enjoying nature. With twelve to collect there is plenty to keep them occcupied. Each embroidered badge comes with an activity booklet and guidance notes. There are two badges for each of the six themes, Woodland, Coastal, Towns and Gardens, Meadows and Farmland, Ponds, Rivers and Streams and Night Sky.

So look forward to an Autumn full of adventure and fun and don’t forget to tag us in what you get up to with #thenaturebugclub xx
